How did Lavish Modern originate?
"When I (AJ) first started designing my own home, I wanted these designs that I've seen in Miami and online. But no one offered it, nor we're there any videos on how to do it. After figuring it out and posting my interior on social media, it got a ton of engagement so that's when I decided to pursue this."
Personally, who are you?
"I've always been obsessed with homes, cars, and things of that sort. In my professional career I used to make custom suits as well as custom websites. So I've always just loved building. Even since I was a kid, Lego's were just the best thing ever to me. There was something about an endless box of bricks where you create a vision, plan it, and make it a reality. In my free time I love working out, paddle boarding in the springs, seeing nature, spending time with loved ones, eating sushi, or playing sports.
What is the future of Lavish Modern?
"Keeping up to date with trends, updating the products, getting into flips and small aesthetic airbnb's. Maybe taking on bigger projects like custom homes. I just love making things look good."
